We work in conjunction with SHL, the world leader in objective people assessment based on the science of psychometrics. They were founded in 1977 by the widely known and highly respected Professor Peter Saville and Roger Holdsworth.

Westfield chooses to work with SHL because of the wide range of psychometric products they offer, meaning we can assist our clients in various ways. We can conduct tests online, or paper based, and compare results against a validated appropriate norm group.

Our clients most commonly use psychometric testing in Recruitment and Selection, by using personality and/or ability based tests we can assist you to improve the quality of your recruitment decisions.

A personality questionnaire provides in-depth information on how candidates will fit within a work environment, how they will work with others and their performance potential against job competencies. We provide managers with a business-length report detailing the strengths and weaknesses of candidates prior to interviewing and can also assist in providing relevant interview questions if required.

We also offer a range of ability tests that assess work-relevant aptitudes across all levels of an organisation, from entry level through to leadership positions.

Various other tools are available and useful for spotting potential, gaining 360° feedback, helping aid career planning and facilitating the change process.

We have also successfully used personality profiling to assist in teams that are not functioning to maximum effect and to assist new Directors and Managers to understand their teams better. It works well in conjunction with some of our training programmes too!
